Flisadam Pointer, founder of Envert Media, traces her unique journey into the media world back to her childhood home in New Jersey, where her late father’s love for music and storytelling ignited her passion. Despite her professors’ skepticism about the viability of social media as a professional path, she saw the potential for journalism to evolve within the entertainment industry, especially in how it could embrace more dynamic and immersive storytelling methods.

Her career has been marked by a focus on independent artists and local live events, gradually expanding to include national (and international) entertainment coverage. Pointer has even been involved in discussions about the impact of new technologies like NFTs on the music industry, exploring how these innovations alter the traditional dynamics of music production, distribution, and revenue.
